Could you be the full-time Site Quality Director in Chorzów, Poland, we’re looking for?

 

Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in quality management and leadership in a cutting-edge field. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring that all site deliveries meet the highest quality standards. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Site Management, Regional Center Committees, and the Alstom Quality Network), engage with external stakeholders like customers and suppliers, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction and operational excellence. You’ll specifically take care of deploying quality policies and tools at the site level, but also lead and develop the site’s quality teams to foster a culture of excellence.

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Developing and promoting a Quality Culture and a "Right First Time" approach
  • Ensure alignment of quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) objectives with contractual and regulatory requirements
  • Driving continuous improvement plans to reduce cost of non-quality (CONQ), non-conformance reports (NCR), and safety issues
  • Conduct quality and safety assessments of delivered products and services
  • Increase customer satisfaction through regular engagement, surveys, and delivery controls
  • Deploy standard quality tools and indicators while contributing to their improvement
  • Guarantee compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) standards, including ISO9001, IRIS, and other relevant certifications
  • Improve coherency of Quality Processes to existing standards and assure appropriate interfaces to other function

 

All about you

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, General Management, or Quality Management
  • Solid professional background with sustained leadership in quality, project, or operations management
  • Experience in managing quality tools and problem-solving methodologies
  • Customer-oriented mindset with demonstrated leadership capabilities, fluent in cross-functional collaboration
  • Ability to manage cross-functional and multicultural teams
  • Data-driven approach with a focus on rigor and continuous improvement
  • Full professional proficiency in English
  • Knowledge of the railway industry, including norms and certifications, is an advantage
