PURPOSE OF THE JOB

  • Ensure Industrial Quality compliance with Customer requirements & ALSTOM applicable standards.
  • Lead Zero Defect Program in the factory.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES  

 

Accountability & Authorities

  • Support PME to ensure non-compliance risks analysis using Process FMEA.
  • Lead implementation of Quality Control Plans using REX of previous project execution & associated relevant IQ staffing.
  • Lead control & process digitalization.
  • Improve Quality level per main processes:
    • Perform analysis & manage actions to improve the outgoing product quality.
    • Escalade the main anomalies detected on the production lines & ensure their effective treatment (Problem Solving tools).
  • Support of manufacturing for quality topics:
    • Stop the production in case of a defect which justifies mandatory rework.
    • Support manufacturing teams to develop self-inspection.
  • Lead quality animation methodology deployment, in line with Continuous Improvement system.
  • Manage & develop the industrial quality team, using Q-School process & yearly training / qualification plan.
  • Manage APSYS improvement plan for Industrial Quality scope.

 

Performance measurements

  • Defects per Unit reduction (10 % per year).
  • External demerit objective.
  • CONQ objective (for CONQ S1.1 & S1.3).
  • APSYS score for Industrial scope.

 

 MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES

Educational Requirements

Mandatory:

  • Master’s degree in engineering (electromechanical, electrical, material, mechanical…) or equivalent.
  • Experience in managing Quality tools and problem-solving tools.

Desirable:

 

Experience

Mandatory:

  • Processes knowledge on Quality and at industrial level.
  • Management experience.
  • Project management or equivalent.
  • Knowledge about the NDT (Non Destructive Test) test

Desirable:

  • Minimum 5 years experiences in Industrial.

 

Competencies & Skills

  • Technical mastering of railway products.
  • International mindset & fluent in English.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization and resistance to pressure (production, delivery)
