Could you be the full-time Services LSA Engineer in Chorzów we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative and collaborative teammates.
You'll play a key role in ensuring the seamless integration of serviceability into our designs, contributing to the optimization of maintenance processes and enhancing the lifecycle performance of our products. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (suppliers, RAMS team, and project delivery staff), conduct 3D reviews and First Mounting Reviews to confirm maintainability requirements, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of evaluating the maintenance cost of systems over their service life and preparing maintenance documentation, but also defining spare parts and identifying special tools.
We’ll look to you for:

Following the Design for Serviceability (DFS) process to ensure correct integration of serviceability aspects, including level of repair, maintainability, and accessibility

Proposing design improvements and optimizations to integrate maintenance constraints
-
Ensuring proper inputs from suppliers for maintainability of relevant subsystems/components
-
Coordinating main contributors to achieve Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) objectives with a focus on Life Cycle Cost (LCC) performance

Participating in 3D reviews and First Mounting Reviews to confirm maintainability requirements are fulfilled

Performing maintainability demonstrations

Aligning with the RAMS team on safety constraints and ensuring their proper implementation on Integrated Services Readiness (ISR) deliverables

Engineering University Degree or equivalent

Proficiency in English (French or German is an advantage)

Experience in product development as an engineer

Knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and basic proficiency in Catia

Experience working with technical documentation

Good communication skills
-
Capability to run technical meetings in English

Synthesis and reporting skills

Familiarity with rolling stock products and solutions (desirable)

Technical knowledge of reliability and maintainability aspects (desirable)

Strong leadership, decision-making, and critical thinking skills (desirable)

Ability to liaise effectively with all stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and project delivery staff (desirable)
