Purpose of the Job:
- He/she manages Schematic & Apparatus resources and activities on the project he is affected.
- He/she is responsible of the electrical deliveries for each electrical baseline of the project he’s contributing to.
Organisation Reporting
- Hierarchical : Schematic & Apparatus Domain Leader (S&ADL)
- Functional : Train Control Engineer (TCE)
Network & Links
- He/she is in permanent link with the TCE, the TSE, Subsystem Engineer and the TDE of the project. He is also in direct link with Verification & Test Engineer.
- He/she is in contact with Industrial team in order to align his delivery planning.
Performance Measurement/KPI’s
- Quality of his delivery (included sub-contractor delivery):
- 1st time quality rate > 90% (quality rate = modification validated OK / number of modification applied)
- Respect of the delivery planning (included sub-contractor delivery):
- 100% on time delivery
- Level of application of standard PPL:
- 100% of PPL
- Configuration management of his deliverables:
- 100% of deliverables properly managed into configuration database
- Continuous improvement or Return on Experience (RoE) management from previous projects:
- zero missing RoE
- zero missing RoE
Accountable for:
- Delivery of the right product at the right moment to the project electrical Lead Engineer, the product consisting into the complete electrical case or a set of electrical deliverables for each baseline made of :
- Cabled Principle Scheme / SPS
- Wiring/Device list,
- Harness case,
- electrical architecture at train level
- S&A workload on his project/tender,
- Applying of the Metier rules and processes
Responsible for:
- Delivery of harness 3D models from mechanical integration,
- Managing the S&A QCD of his/her project,
- Managing the S&A work-load of his/her project,
- Sub-contracting management (definition, monitoring, acceptance)
Knowledge & Experience
- Electrical and electro technique engineering knowledge,
- Experience in activity management (at least 2 years),
- Team management (at least 2 years),
- Train system knowledge,
- Industrial and manufacturing view in order to better understand his “internal clients”,
- Electrical CAD experience (at least 3 years),
- Fluent English.
Team size
- Functional reports: he/she manages about 3 persons
- Depending on project number, his/her team can evolve to about 8 persons
Innovation
- Force of proposal for PPL and Processes evolution/improvement.
- Force of proposal to TCE for functional evolution/correction
