Could you be the full-time Supplier Product Quality Development (SPQD) Engineer in Chorzów we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your supplier quality and process development expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates.
You'll ensure supplier quality compliance during the product and process development phases, driving excellence across supplier activities. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, project management, and procurement), monitor supplier deliverables, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
You’ll specifically take care of supplier product/process validation and first article inspections (FAI), but also manage supplier risk assessments and action plans.
We’ll look to you for:

Monitoring quality during supplier product and process development to ensure compliance with Alstom requirements

Delivering project quality activities for critical purchased parts, from initial supplier part lists to successful FAI approvals

Performing supplier quality risk assessments at the business award stage

Validating the industrial capability of supplier manufacturing processes

Driving supplier action plans and ensuring FAI Go On Time targets are met

Preparing and performing customer FAI when requested

Contributing to problem-solving for critical non-conformities and warranty issues

Performing audits or assessments of suppliers when needed

Handover to Supplier Quality Serial Life after FAI Go and initial deliveries

Participating in lessons learned and continuous improvement programs (APSYS)

Degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field

Experience or understanding of supplier quality processes and product validation

Knowledge of quality tools such as FMEA, control plans, and problem-solving methodologies

Familiarity with industrial manufacturing processes and standards

A certification in quality management (e.g., ISO 9001) is a plus
-
Strong analytical and communication skills
-
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
