Product Introduction Support Manager (m/f):

Main mission & objectives:

  • Coordinate activities between manufacturing site and warranty implementation team related to problem solving and product modifications
  • Ensure all product issues impacting reliability growth are addressed to relevant stakeholders (eg. quality, engineering, industrial)
  • Secure field modifications preparation with definition of material, tools and documentation package
  • Supervise logistic/materials in Alstom manufacturing site with regards to consignment stock availability, delivery and repair loop (including over warranty lifetime)
  • Regular monitoring of budget (actual vs forecast)
  • Contribute to claims and negotiations with external supplier (regarding Product Introduction activities)
  • Ensure compliance to standard processes (ISO, EHS) for Product Introduction teams
  • Support PI Supplier Performance Managers in back-charging process with ensuring relevant PI documentation

 

Educational Requirements:

  • Engineering University Degree or equivalent
  • English mandatory
  • French or German will be an advantage

 

Candidate profile:

Mandatory:

  • + 5years experience with technical scope execution and coordination
  • Ability to liaise with & drive different stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
  • Structured communication aptitude
  • Leadership, solid decision making and critical thinking
  • Capability to run technical meetings in English
  • Synthesis and reporting proficiencies

 

Desirable:

  • Project Execution (technical/industrial/Procurement/Supply Chain)
  • Familiar with rolling stock products and solutions
  • Team management (functional)
  • Technical knowledge on the reliability and maintainability aspects
  • Leadership, solid decision making and critical thinking
  • General Railway and Product knowledge
  • Railway safety
  • EHS knowledge and exposure
