Could you be the full-time Product (Mechanical Subsystem) Engineer in Chorzów we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside talented, collaborative, and innovative teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in managing the development of mechanical subsystems, particularly focusing on the interior components of railway vehicles. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Purchasing, Train Design, Maintenance, and Quality), ensure the proper application of catalog products, and oversee compliance with design rules and high-quality technical deliverables. You’ll also collaborate with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and customers to ensure successful project execution.
You’ll specifically take care of technical assessments, design reviews, and requirement specifications, but also support problem-solving activities and manage assigned work packages.
We’ll look to you for:

Ensuring catalog products and processes are fully applied within projects using tools like Connector and Design Review CheckList (DRCL).

Preparing and leading Design Reviews with suppliers and Train System Engineers (TSE).

Managing technical Subsystem Project Single List of Issues (PSLI) and Risk Analysis Mitigation Plans (RAMP).

Driving the technical development of systems, including mechanical, electrical installation, electronic elements, and software interfaces with the Train Control Management System (TCMS).

Supporting critical technical issues at various sites when needed.

Participating in R&D work packages and sustaining plans, including second sourcing, obsolescence management, and cost optimization.

A degree in engineering or a related field.

Experience in engineering and application of products in the railway industry.
