Mechanical Lead Engineer Electrical

 

On this position you will be Managing CAD Routing Integration & Mechanical Engineer Electrical teams , activities and deliverables on an area in one Electrical  Domain on project in compliance with QCD commitments. Applying applicable Electrical/Mechanical Domain instructions, processes & tools

 

Responsible for:

  • Planning and piloting Electrical Domain activities and related deliverables on project taking into account applicable instructions/processes and other specific Customer (internal or external) requirements.
  • Applying TE rules, processes and tools (single-domain) and ensuring Electrical Domain deliverables quality and their acceptance by the Customer (internal or external) within committed limits.
  • Managing production of deliverables in accordance with planning targets on Electrical Domain assigned work packages.
  • Designing products taking into account project requirements (performances, manufacturability, serviceability, testability, etc.).
  • Preparing and documenting Electrical Domain Design Reviews according to project schedule and following-up the main open actions.
  • Checking respect of Allocated volumes/interfaces (no-clashes) on internal design.
  • Resolving Project Mechanical&Electrical issues and following challenging actions (single-domain)
  • Defining mitigation plans covering a risk identified on Project Electrical Domain scope.
  • Reporting on Electrical Domain activities progress, anticipating issues (capacity, skills, rule applicability, etc.) and alerting if needed.
  • Respecting and/or allocating requirements and mechanical interfaces to Sub-Systems/equipments  (Allocated volume, weight, location, 3PL, etc.)
  • Coordinating Electrical Domain contributors on Project.
  • Analysing and consolidating change request impacts on Electricall Domain scope
  • Producing Electrical Domain deliverables (RSAD L2, Validation Plan, etc.)
  • Validating relevant Electrical Domain deliverables and securing planning.
  • Verifying design via mock-ups or simulations.

 

 

Minimum qualifications:

  • Good Communications and interpersonal skills including with third parties (customer).
  • Time management and reporting skill.
  • Sense of urgency / priority.
  • Customer & Product Focus.
  • Structured and organised with Hands-on approach.
  • Catia V5 knowledge (including EHI),
  • Experience in big constructions design,
  • Good knowledge of Railway standards.
