Could you be the full-time Junior Project Planning Manager in Chorzów, Poland, we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your planning and coordination expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic, collaborative, and results-oriented teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the “On Time Delivery” of customer contractual milestones for all projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Project Management, Production, Testing, Industrialization, and Logistics), align schedules across functions, and define planning tools and processes to support operational excellence.
You’ll specifically take care of managing planning activities across multiple departments and sites, but also defining capacity models and coordinating training programs for the planning team.
We’ll look to you for:

Managing planning, encompassing different products and projects in parallel

Coordinating activities and processes related to Global Planning, Industrial Planning, and Project Planning

Ensuring time coherence across functions, axes, and layers for all planning activities

Defining and updating planning capacity models, including headcount and skills requirements
-
Coordinating training curricula, mentoring programs, and Project Planning certifications
-
Ensuring integration and coordination of project and operations schedules
-
Supporting capacity and resource management processes

Defining the planning tools and data application landscape, including integration rules for sub-schedules
-
Providing workload consolidation tools and templates (S&OP)

Supporting achievable and competitive planning for bids, including main milestones and risk assessment

Successful graduation in engineering or business (master’s degree or diploma)

Proven experience in roles related to Planning, Project Management, or Production (e.g., Project/Bid Management, Development, Production), especially in scheduling processes and tools

Good knowledge of MS Office and planning tools

Experience in the railway industry or construction; knowledge of Alstom-specific products and processes is desirable

Strong management skills with a results-driven personality and decision-making ability

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interface with senior management

Strategic, rigorous, multi-tasking, collaborative, and accountable, with the ability to build consensus

Comfortable working in a matrixed, international environment

Fluency in Polish and English
