Could you be the full-time Buyer in Chorzów we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your procurement expertise in a dynamic and forward-thinking field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and goal-oriented teammates.

 

You'll play a key role in ensuring the success of our sourcing activities and supplier relationships. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as engineering, project management, and quality teams), manage supplier negotiations, and coordinate first deliveries, among other responsibilities.

 

You’ll specifically take care of managing RFQs and supplier selection processes, but also handle modifications and claims throughout the project lifecycle.

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Managing RFQs with suppliers

  • Performing negotiations with suppliers

  • Preparing Business Awards (BA) and supplier selection, including QCDT (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Technology) aspects

  • Preparing purchase orders and contracts in the SAP ERP system

  • Supervising and coordinating first deliveries

  • Managing modifications and claims during the project lifecycle

  • Identifying cost-saving and cost-reduction opportunities

  • Managing allocated budgets throughout the project

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Logistics, or Management

  • Fluency in English

  • Knowledge of sheet metal processing (preferred)

  • Proficiency in Office tools and experience with SAP ERP systems

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Dynamic, rigorous, and collaborative mindset

  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships and contacts

  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation (e.g., drawings and specifications)

  • Understanding of supplier cost structures

  • Analytical skills
