Head of project controlling:

Purpose of the job:

Organise, manage, coordinate the project controlling activities of  a reporting unit or a grouping of locations.

Key accountabilities

Financial Management and Controlling

  • Responsible for providing accurate transparent information, support and performance enablers to the site and country management team
  • Assist in all the project controlling matters of the reporting unit
  • Guidance
  • Interpretation of Data /Figures
  • Interface between site and project functions
  • Monitor and forecast the QCD financial indicators of the projects in the reporting unit
  • Set targets and control environment for the project cost management within the sites in order to maximize performance.
  • Monitor project financial flows and validate the final reports 
  • Control and validate the project financial data provided by the site functions
  • Challenge and give some insight for risks or variance analyses.
  • Provide to business management financial support backed by consolidated data and analysis.
  • Provide all necessary analysis and assistance to the central management control team   
  • Work at actual, forecast and budget levels.
  • Develop Action plans in order to optimise performance and implement corrective actions

 

Reporting and coordination

  • Set the environment to collect, consolidate, analyse and validate financial data in order to produce actual budget and forecasts, draw conclusions on variances of resource allocation and recommend corrective action regarding projects
  • Comply with the reporting definitions of Alstom guidelines in order to provide consistent and informative management information and ensure compliance with Internal Control
  • Interface with country finance management to report and cascade information.

Management

  • Coordinate the work of the project controlling team in the reporting unit 
  • Ensures continues improvement of the team, sharing of knowledge and experience
  • Support Site contnroller and Country FD in the proper reporting, forecasting and budgeting of the project results
  • Coordinate Financial project reviews of the reporting unit

3. Persons to whom the data is disclosed (recipients of data) are authorized employees/associates of the Administrator who must have access to them in order to perform their duties.
4. We inform you that your personal data is stored for a period of 12 months for the recruitment processes conducted by the Administrator, or until your consent is withdrawn and only to the extent that consent has been granted and not longer than 12 months for future recruitment. After this period, they are removed and personal data is not processed for any other purpose. We do not send back the application. We only contact selected candidates.
5. Please be advised that in connection with providing us with your personal information necessary for recruitment purposes, you have the following rights:
a) the right to access personal data,
b) the right to rectify the data,
c) the right to delete data ("the right to be forgotten"),
d) the right to limit the processing of personal data,
e) the right to object to the processing of personal data in an automated manner, including profiling,
f) the right to transfer data,
g) the right to withdraw consent in the event that the Administrator processes your personal data based on the consent, without affecting the legality of the processing, which was made on the basis of consent before its withdrawal,
h) the right to submit a complaint to the supervisory body - the Data Protection Authority - in case of violation of personal data.
