Could you be the full-time Production Manager (Services)/Fleet and Maintenance Manager in [LOCATION] we’re looking for?


Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your leadership and operational expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside a supportive and dynamic team of professionals.

You'll play a key role in ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are met while delivering trains on time in a safe, clean, and fully functional condition to our customers. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with internal teams such as Fleet Management, Test Teams, and Production Managers, as well as external stakeholders like customer representatives and sub-contractors. You’ll oversee resource planning, manage organizational changes, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, among other responsibilities.

You’ll specifically take care of optimizing depot operations and maintaining infrastructure to required standards, but also continuously improve maintenance and operational processes.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Managing a production team, including monitoring and controlling production on a shift-by-shift basis.

  • Ensuring accountability for production is clearly defined and delegated.

  • Identifying staffing requirements and facilitating training to optimize productivity.

  • Ensuring safety and quality compliance in all production activities.

  • Minimizing operating costs while maximizing efficiency through effective resource planning.

  • Proactively identifying and implementing areas for improvement based on operational analysis and customer feedback.

  • Higher National Certificate (Degree or Diploma) or equivalent in an Engineering field, with experience in Rolling Stock and Metro Rail.

  • Minimum 12+ years of experience in Rolling Stock Vehicle Level Services, Maintenance, and Team Management, preferably in the Metro Rail segment.

  • Experience in fleet and/or maintenance operations and planning roles.

  • Technical knowledge of relevant traction and rolling stock.

  • Understanding of railway depot and industry operations.

  • Familiarity with SAP, MS Office packages, email, and intranet tools.

  • Strong communication, manpower management, and self-motivation skills.

  • Proficiency in the local language.
