Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering and project management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.
You'll shape the future of greener mobility by managing the resources, activities, and deliverables for electrical traction and/or green energy supply design projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams across the business (engineering, manufacturing, sourcing), ensure adherence to QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) commitments, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of defining mechanical architecture considering various technical factors, and validating design deliverables, but also participate in technical discussions with suppliers and lead design reviews.
We’ll look to you for:
- Gathering and managing inputs required by the Traction Design team on time and in full
- Functionally managing the Traction Design team throughout the development phase
- Ensuring the technical solutions applied are aligned with product requirements
- Preparing and leading design reviews, and managing related open item lists
- Monitoring and sustaining engineering planning and deliverables
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve technical issues
- Validating design choices through simulations, mock-ups, or testing
- Supporting sourcing, industrialization, and manufacturing during production ramp-up
All about you
We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:
- Degree in Engineering – Generalist or Electro-Mechanical
- Experience in Mechanical or Integration Engineering
- Project management experience
- Knowledge of engineering applied to railway products (desirable)
- Functional management experience (desirable)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Time management, structured and organized approach
- Team spirit and collaborative management style
- Fluency in English and French language
You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
