Could you be the full-time VIE Sub-System Manager Support in Charleroi we’re looking for?


Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your technical coordination expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.

You'll contribute to the successful management of traction and rolling stock subsystems in large-scale railway projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (design, industrialization, validation, safety, maintenance, customer service and more), assist in risk identification and mitigation planning, and support customer interface activities.

You’ll specifically take care of monitoring subsystem projects & parts,  ensuring QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) objectives are achieved through structured follow-up and coordination.

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Supporting the Sub-System Manager (SSM) in managing the technical scope of traction/rolling stock subsystems during project execution
  • Participating in project reviews and preparing documentation, reports, and progress updates
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure deliverables are aligned and on time
  • Assisting in client interactions by providing clarification and feedback
  • Identifying risks and contributing to mitigation action plans

  • Master’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field) is a plus
  • A first experience (internship, academic project, or VIE) in system engineering, project management, or industrial projects is a plus
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to support interactions with multiple stakeholders
  • Structured, analytical, and organized mindset
  • Eagerness to learn, autonomy, and adaptability in a multicultural environment
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of French is an asset
