Could you be the full-time VIE Sub-System Manager Support in Charleroi we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your technical coordination expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.
You'll play a key role in supporting the Sub-System Manager (SSM) to ensure seamless coordination of activities related to traction and rolling stock subsystems. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (design, industrialization, validation, safety, RAM, etc.), contribute to the follow-up of technical deliverables, and assist in managing interfaces between engineering, project teams, and customers.
You’ll specifically take care of monitoring subsystem requirements and preparing progress updates, but also assist in risk identification and mitigation planning.
We’ll look to you for:
- Supporting the SSM in managing the technical scope of traction/rolling stock subsystems during project execution
- Contributing to ensuring subsystem requirements align with project needs
- Participating in project reviews and preparing documentation, reports, and updates
- Following up with internal teams to ensure deliverables are aligned and on time
- Assisting in client interface, providing clarification and feedback when needed
- Supporting QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) objectives through structured follow-up and coordination
All about you
We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:
- Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field or Civil engineer)
- Experience or understanding of system engineering, project management, or industrial projects
- Knowledge of technical coordination in complex project environments
- Familiarity with stakeholder communication and documentation preparation
- A structured, analytical, and organized mindset
- Eagerness to learn, autonomy, and adaptability in a multicultural environment
- Fluency in English; French is an asset
You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
