Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering and process optimization expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative and collaborative teammates.
You'll play a key role in optimizing production flows within the workshop by structuring the Manufacturing Bill of Material (MBOM), creating routings, and developing work instructions. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams), ensure compliance with project quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) commitments, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of co-engineering to structure the Engineering Bill of Material (EBOM) and defining the Make or Buy status, but also contribute to the development of assembly sequences and work instructions.
We’ll look to you for:
- Optimizing the MBOM to improve production flows
- Defining and structuring the EBOM
- Developing assembly sequences and production durations
- Creating detailed work instructions for routing operations
- Ensuring compliance with customer acceptance criteria
- Supervising global customer acceptance performance for the scope of work
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient project execution
All about you
We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:
- Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent
- First experience in process industry, railways, or factory automation
- Fluent in English
- Good understanding of key electrical and/or mechanical processes (earthing & bonding, cabling, protection, instrumentation, etc.)
- Strong leadership and result-driven mindset
- Ability to foster communication between multiple stakeholders
- Negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in complex environments
- Team spirit and excellent communication skills
Things you’ll enjoy
Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:
- Work with new security standards for rail signalling
- Collaborate with transverse teams and helpful colleagues
- Contribute to innovative projects
You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
