Could you be the full-time Methods & Tooling Engineer VIE in Charleroi we’re looking for?


Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your industrialization and process optimization expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative and collaborative teammates.

You'll play a vital role in optimizing production processes to enhance quality, cost, and delivery performance. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Sourcing, Supplier Quality, and Engineering), ensure the maintenance of production tools, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of designing and improving manufacturing processes, as well as training workers and managers during design and industrialization phases, but also support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing lines.

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Proposing, setting up, and improving manufacturing processes, workstations, and tooling
  • Designing and optimizing machine setups and workstation organization
  • Contributing to Process FMEA and implementing improvement action plans
  • Qualifying industrial means related to manufacturing, repairs, and rework
  • Ensuring compliance with EHS standards and quality systems
  • Managing overhead budgets, CAPEX, and investments related to new manufacturing equipment

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience or understanding of manufacturing processes and industrialization
  • Knowledge of process optimization and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Familiarity with FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
  • A Lean Six Sigma certification (preferred)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
