Could you be the full-time System Designer in Charleroi we’re looking for?


Your future role

You'll play a key role in analyzing input needs, designing solutions, and formalizing system specifications to deliver high-quality results for our projects and programs. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Project Engineering, Program teams, V&V teams, RAM, safety, software, and product teams), contribute to technical reviews, and ensure the traceability and validation of system specifications, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of conceptual design, system modeling, and requirement analysis, but also support system application architecture for projects and tenders.

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Analyzing, clarifying, and confirming input requirements and needs

  • Performing conceptual design by preparing system models, design studies, and real-time analysis

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop design concepts and definitions

  • Conducting and participating in technical reviews, including consultation with end-users and experts

  • Formalizing and maintaining system specifications, ensuring traceability and compliance with input requirements

  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and workload estimations

  • Engineer Degree (Master’s Degree is a plus)

  • Experience or understanding of system engineering principles

  • Knowledge of system design, modelling, and interfaces

  • Familiarity with requirement management and writing

  • A certification in System Engineering (desirable)

  • Ability to work transversally with engineering teams

  • Strong English communication skills
