You’ll specifically take care of performing functional safety analysis and hazard identification, but also contribute to software safety through critical code reviews or failure mode analysis, depending on your strengths.
We’ll look to you for
-
Performing system safety analyses (functional safety analysis, hazard identification, FMEA/FMECA, risk assessment)
-
Working on Trackside and Trainborne systems exclusively within the Development Center
-
Ensuring traceability of safety requirements and validating technical evidence
-
Building and maintaining safety documentation and supporting the creation of Safety Cases
-
Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to validate safety evidence
-
Participating in safety reviews and addressing findings from internal and external assessors

-
Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
-
Up to 5 years of experience (previous exposure to safety or system engineering is a plus)
-
Familiarity with CENELEC and UNISIG standards (a strong asset)
-
System-level understanding and the ability to think in degraded scenarios
-
An analytical mindset with the ability to understand the impact of safety decisions across disciplines
