Your Mission
As a RAMS Engineer (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety), you will be responsible for supporting and ensuring the validation of traction systems and RSC safety in Charleroi according to CENELEC standards. You will provide in-depth safety assessments and analyses leading to the development of the Safety Dossier.
What You’ll Be Doing
Safety Assessments:

- Conduct safety assessments on new designs or modifications of systems, incorporating appropriate risk analyses.
Support for RAMS Analysis:

- Provide RAMS support by performing analyses such as FMEA, FTA, and updating hazard registers.
- Collaborate with project managers and System Safety and Assurance Manager to define clear objectives.
Application of Safety Methods:

- Apply appropriate safety assurance methods to the project, ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and schedule requirements.
Results Management:

- Measure success through the adequacy of safety assessments, timely deliveries, and the quality of working relationships with project teams.
Continuous Improvement:

- Analyze feedback and technical challenges to refine our solutions and share valuable insights for the documentation process.
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- A degree in engineering in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in safety.
Behavioral Competencies:
- Rigorous and reliable.
- Promote teamwork and communication.
- Capability to work under pressure.
Nice-to-Have:
- Good command of English.
- Successful application of RAMS methodologies in previous projects.
