Could you be the full-time **Verification and Validation (V&V) Manager in Charlero we’re looking for?
Your future role
- Take on a new challenge and apply your **analytical and organizational** expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside a **collaborative and forward-thinking** team of professionals.
- You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful deployment of major signalling projects by leading, organizing, and executing verification, integration, and test activities. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams across the business (such as Test & Commissioning, Project Engineering, and Safety Assurance), define and implement V&V strategies, and ensure compliance with internal processes and applicable standards.
- You’ll specifically take care of defining project-specific V&V plans and managing the full verification and validation of configured functions, but also contribute to optimizing test allocations and collaborating with customers, partners, and auditors.
We’ll look to you for:
- Defining the Project Verification and Validation strategy in the V&V Plan to ensure requirements are met and demonstrated.
- Optimizing the allocation of tests between in-house and on-site environments to enhance efficiency and coverage.
- Defining and agreeing on the V&V activity schedule in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Ensuring adherence to internal processes, norms, methods, and tools, and requesting deviations where appropriate.
- Developing and managing the Requirement Validation Table (RVT) to validate technical requirements.
- Leading documental verifications, reviews, and full verification and validation processes.
- Coordinating the implementation of testbenches and analysis tools to support testing activities.
- Representing Alstom in discussions with customers, partners, and auditors to provide updates on test strategy, progress, and risk management.
- Managing and motivating the Project Verification & Validation Team and ensuring their deliverables meet project requirements.
- Collaborating with Test & Commissioning to define and oversee Site Acceptance Tests.

- A degree in Engineering or a related scientific discipline.
- Experience or understanding of test and integration processes, or alternatively, system engineering or safety assurance.
- Knowledge of at least one Alstom platform.
- Familiarity with design and data preparation processes.
- A Master’s degree in Engineering or scientific topics (preferred).
- Experience in systems or sub-systems integration, embedded equipment, electrotechnical product development, or similar roles in complex and regulated industries such as railway signalling, aerospace, defense, or nuclear (5+ years preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Leadership and team motivation abilities.
- Excellent communication and writing skills, with clarity, rigor, and concision.
- Proficiency in English (mandatory).
