MISSION

In the scope of the project, the Project Planning Manager will be part of the ERTMS onboard project core team and in charge of reporting both to Alstom and to various customers. In order to measure the performance, the Project Planning Manager will set up KPIs on schedule adherence, and track variation from a baseline on deliverables both from Alstom as well as input from the customers, suppliers or third parties.

The Project Planning Manager will integrate engineering, procurement, production, installation and commissioning schedules into the ERTMS onboard project schedule and manage the schedule interface with internal partners, supporting the Customer and Subcontractors.

Further to the design phase of the project where the solution is defined and tested on some test trains, the Project Planning Manager will develop and follow-up the detailed roll-out schedule (based on contractual targets). Should the project planning slip and no longer meet the contractual targets, the Project Planning Manager will propose mitigation measures or alternatives, in collaboration with the team, in order to get the schedule back aligned with contractual targets.
