PURPOSE OF THE JOB
- The Project / Program Configuration and Change Controller is responsible to manage and control CCM tool and documents for any given Program/Project irrespective of their level.
- Accountable that all Project/Program stakeholders apply the CCM process/tool.
- Keep the project/program configuration under control and manage changes during the whole lifecycle of the Project or Program

Configuration and Change Management (CCM) Métiers / Regional / Site Leads
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
- Is leading the CCM activities in Project/Program or is supporting the Advanced PrCCM or the Senior PrCCM in a project/program.
- Promotes the Alstom Code of Ethics and adheres to the highest standards of ethical conduct.
- Applies Configuration and Change standard procedures, instructions, templates etc. and ensures that team members do not bypass them.
- Ensures the activities and Roles & Responsibilities defined in the Configuration Management Plan (CMP) are applied and followed.
- Reports and escalates any CCM related issues within the Project / Program organization and proposes possible solutions.
- Reports on CCM Performance Indicators.
- Contributes to REX and suggests improvements to the CCM activities.
- Supports or manages access rights to configuration and change databases.
- Timely updates data managed and stored in the configuration and change databases/tools.
- Ensures the execution Development for Quality (DfQ) Gates for CCM deliverables.
- Supports configuration management activities
- Leads or supports Change Management activities
MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES
Educational Requirements
Mandatory:
- Bachelor’s degree in any of Engineering/Project Management/Business Management or equivalent
Experience
Mandatory:
- Basic knowledge of Configuration & Change Management
- Basic knowledge of Business Process Management, Project Management, Risk Management, Requirements Management Supply Chain, Engineering, Industrialization, Data Management and Document Control inter-related with CCM.
- Basic experience in working in an international environment Desirable:
- Knowledge of Alstom configuration & change processes and related processes of contributing Métiers/ / Functions
- Up to 3 years of experience in a configuration and change management role.
Competencies & Skills
- Desirable knowledge of railway products, systems and components
- Desirable knowledge of the CCM tools (e.g. ALM, Clear Quest , SAP, PLM etc.)
- Ability to communicate with all involved project/program stakeholders.
- French & English language skills
- Good attention to detail.
- Systematic, rigorous, proactive and organized
- Contributing to continuous improvement on processes and standards
- Is a team contributor and sets a good environment for team colleagues
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
