Could you be the full-time Software Developer (or Software Development Manager) we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your software engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, innovative, and forward-thinking teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in designing and developing software components that contribute to the success of our mobility solutions. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, including Software Architects, Hardware Designers, and Quality Assurance Managers, while also supporting hardware/software integration and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
You’ll specifically take care of software specifications, architecture development, and coding, but also testing, verification, and configuration management.
We’ll look to you for:

Contributing to the elaboration of software specifications and architecture in collaboration with Software Architects.

Developing detailed designs and coding software components.

Setting up and managing the software development toolchain.

Designing, preparing, and performing tests and verifications of deliverables.

Supporting software/software and hardware/software integration.

Applying processes and standards and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Promoting the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct.

Engineer Degree or Master’s Degree in a relevant field.

Experience in software development (mandatory).

Experience in railway software development or vital/secure software development (desirable).

Good oral and written communication skills in English; knowledge of French or German is an asset.

Strong ability to work transversally with engineering teams.

Knowledge of concurrent engineering principles.

Familiarity with software configuration management and testing tools.
