PURPOSE OF THE JOB

  • Prepare Installation drawings and documents in support to one or several Bids / Projects, being part of the Mainline and Urban (M&U) Signaling Installation Engineering (IE) team, in compliance with M&U Signaling strategies
  • Ensure the compliance with EHS policies, local regulations, and professional standards

 

 

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES  

In compliance to EHS (Zero Deviation) and Regulatory standards, the Sig Installation Design Technician/Draftsman executes the IE activities, in coordination with the Sig Installation Design Engineers and Sig Project Installation Engineering Leader, including:

 

  • Execute IE activities (Drawings, documentation, specification, Work Method Statement, …) in support of one or several Bids / Projects
  • Ensure the delivery of the drawings in accordance with the project execution requirements: customer, installation subcontractor, local quality regulation, project drawing templates, …
  • Interface with Application Design and/or local Engineer for verification / validation of the drawings
  • Ensure the correct storage and maintenance of the drawings into the project repository
  • Alert if any concerns may impact the QCD deliverables
  • Ensure application of D&IS Installation and FO Process for Installation Engineering activities

MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES

Educational Requirements

Mandatory:

Highly qualified technician or technical diploma or equivalent education or experiences

 

Desirable:

Certification on Autocad

 

Experience

Mandatory:

  • Minimum experience in design, drafting or engineering (Project and/or construction experience appreciated)
  • Very good knowledge of Autocad and Excel

 

Desirable:

  • Minimum knowledge of Railway products and services on different market segments (Urban, Mainline, F&M)
  • Minimum knowledge of BIM procedures and tools
