PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Cluster Benelux Finance and Rolling Stock (RS) Controller acts as a business partner for the Benelux Management Team by providing them with quality financial data and analysis in order to improve business performance. He is the main point of contact for the business on controlling matters.

The job holder reports directly to the Finance Director Benelux

ACCOUNTABILITIES & AUTHORITIES

Key accountabilities:

  • Provide Cluster Benelux management team with sound & timely financial information as well as transparent risks & opportunities analysis
  • Works closely with the Financer Director Cluster Benelux and is a key member of the Benelux Finance Mgmt teamadvising, supporting, alerting and challenging Cluster Benelux site and PL controllers as well as the senior FPMs of the Rolling Stock projects around critical issues to the Clusterperformance
  • Prepares the consolidated Operational Plan (3-year plan), Budget and Forecast as well as the Monthly Reporting (inclusive Cluster Business Reviews).
  • Proposes appropriate set of KPIs to help Cluster monitor business and promote action plans across sites to improve Cluster performance
  • Interacts closely with the Europe Finance team concerning business controlling matters of the Cluster. 

 

Performance measurements:

  • Forecasting accuracy above 95%
  • Achievement of budget targets

 

EXPERIENCE PREREQUISITES & REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

 

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Engineer/Business/Unverisity Degree

 

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 5 to 10 years of relevant finance experience

  • Is able to anticipate and coordinate changes in the Organisation from a controlling perspective.
  • Manage the complex controlling subjects.
