Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your Train Control and Information Systems (TC&IS) expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, innovative, and passionate teammates.
You'll play a key role in leading the TC&IS bids development, ensuring all tendering outputs are delivered with precision and quality. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (System Engineering, Bid Managers, customers, Product Platforms), contributing to tender preparations and ensuring the delivery of techno-commercial offers for the Train Control scope of vehicle projects. You’ll also manage interfaces with subsystems (electrical components, PACIS, CCTV, Multimedia, TCMS) and ensure compliance with standards while maximizing design reusability.
You’ll specifically take care of defining TCMS and PACIS architecture, validating development and management plans, and conducting risk assessments, but also contribute to tender costing tool updates and ensure alignment with supplier commitments and standards.
We’ll look to you for:

Delivering TC&IS métier tender outputs with precision and quality

Defining and validating TCMS and PACIS architecture and plans

Managing interfaces with subsystems and ensuring follow-up

Maximizing standardization and reuse of proven design patterns

Conducting gap analysis, risk assessments, and capturing risks in the risk registry

Collaborating with cross-functional teams for tender preparation and costing reviews

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field

8-12 years of experience in Train Control design within railway or other safety-critical/industrial domains

Experience or understanding of Train Control and Information Systems

Knowledge of software quality assurance and system engineering principles

Familiarity with electrical schematics and product definitions
-
A PMP or equivalent certification is preferred

Experience with IEC 61375, EN50128, EN50129 standards, TCMS architecture, and solution definition

Hands-on experience with network and communication protocols such as RS232, RS485, UDP, MVB, Ethernet, CAN, RTP, RTSP, HTTP, VoIP

Familiarity with real-time, distributed controllers and safety-critical software development

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Ability to work independently, lead technical initiatives, and mentor team members
