Job Title (Job Code): EN-VR-11: Test Means Manager
Purpose of the Job:
He/she manages Train Lab preparation and operation: ensures TrainLab is ready for tests on time in the correct configuration monitors Trainlab performances and availability. Scope can be extended to other functional test means: Cosimulation computers and TCMS Testbench

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
Performance Measurement/KPI’s
On time configuration of the TrainLab
100 % train system functional test performed
Time to implement 1 new configuration < 2 weeks
Time to start the Trainlab < 30 minutes
% of time used for test execution > 90% Responsibilities
100% compliant on EHS rules (in particular regarding activities performed on TrainLab and TestBench)
Ensure the preparation of the laboratory before reception of the tests means.
Development of specific model (equipment, low voltage, environment), integration of external models (PU, generic model form Central, supplier).
Management of TrainLab tools configuration according tests planned (real/simulated device, models, supervision)
Transversal management of the suppliers of inputs for configuration preparation on time (new schematics release, new model release, new software release…)
Control the test configuration (HW+SW) against the applicable configurations to be tested.
Planning of TrainLab use per shift in agreement with TVE needs
Maintenance in operational condition
Configuration management of the Trainlab environment and of deliverables
Management of TrainLab Work Package
Mandatory: Engineering school Master of Science (Engineering, Physical Sciences or others) Desirable: Railway engineering Systems engineering Experience Mandatory: Practical knowledge of validation Means (Testbench, simulators…) Practical experience on software integration & validation phases (minimum of 2 years’ experience in Railway or Health, Defence, Aeronautical, Automotive domains). Desirable: Practical knowledge of validation methods (boundary tests, equivalent class tests…) Practical knowledge of validation tools (TestStand, model-based testing tools…) Competencies & Skills Autonomous Rigorous Managing work packages for sub-contractors DFQ cycle Fluent English
