Could you be the full-time System Engineer in Channi we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your systems engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.

You'll play a critical role in defining and implementing system architectures and ensuring the seamless integration of subsystems at the train level. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams across the business (Train Performance Managers, Sub-System Engineers, and Quality Managers), manage technical relationships with suppliers, and contribute to validation and verification activities, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of developing technical requirements and defining train system architecture, but also support train integration and validation during static and dynamic tests.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Developing technical requirements based on standards, safety, and customer needs

  • Defining train system architecture and ensuring subsystem compatibility

  • Writing subsystem specifications and architecture descriptions

  • Managing technical relationships with suppliers, including validation and design reviews

  • Defining and performing train verification strategies

  • Supporting train validation and certification processes

  • Addressing technical issues during train revenue service

  • Reporting project progress and contributing to continuous improvement

  • Engineer degree or Master of Engineering from a university or engineering school

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in train engineering

  • Participation in at least one complete train development project

  • Fluency in business English

  • Strong coordination and communication skills

  • Ability to adapt perspectives and provide constructive challenge

  • Willingness to travel
