Could you be the full-time Software Development Engineer  we’re looking for?


Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your robust software development expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, detail-oriented, and collaborative teammates.

You'll contribute to the seamless integration of our MPU Software modules, enhancing the efficiency and safety of our transport solutions. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Train Control Engineers, Control Engineers, and V&V Leads), develop and integrate software, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of producing MPU Control Build Software Models in compliance with various standards, but also manage the Return on Experience (RoE) of your activities.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Delivery of Train Software Modules and integration in line with your Engineering Work Package

  • Deployment and application of Train Control & Information Solutions development procedures on projects

  • Development of TCMS equipment software/modules, maximizing the reuse of standard components

  • Production of software integration plans and execution of integration with detailed reporting

  • Proactive support during train integration, validation, and supplier interface testing

  • Effective management of software module configurations and contributions to CCB meetings

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

  • Experience or understanding of software development lifecycle in Railway or Automotive domains

  • Knowledge of network protocols like MVB, Ethernet, CAN, RS232, RS 485

  • Familiarity with real-time, distributed controllers and their functioning

  • A certification in a relevant software development methodology or tool (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink)

  • Proficiency in IEC61131-3 software or model-based development tools

  • Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in software development practices
