Job Title EN-FR-02: Software Verification & Test Leader (V&TL)

Purpose of the Job:

He/she manages validation and verification of all TC&IS sub-systems (TCMS, PACIS) and components (SW, S&A) in line with make or buy strategy on the project

Performance Measurement/KPI’s

00 % TC&IS requirements covered by test 100% TC&IS requirements tests performed / all tests On time delivery on all Verification & Test deliverables Continuous improvement or ReX mgt from previous projects : 0 missing REX Level of application of standard Methodologies and Processes : 100% Anomalies / change requests raised on train / CR raised on test bench under 5 % (quality of test performed on test bench)

Responsibilities

Accountable for :

100% compliant on EHS rules (in particular regarding activities performed on train and test bench)

Management of TC&IS validation and verification tools configuration

Delivery of TC&IS test procedures Delivery of TC&IS test reports

Configuration management of Verification & Test deliverables : 100% deliverables properly managed into configuration database Management of validation status of change requests (CR) : all CR status up-to-date in CR database (in line with test procedures and reports)

Management of CR: all NOK results in test reports related to a CR

Responsible for :

Delivery of TC&IS Integration & Validation Plan (activities, means, strategy)

Delivery of TC&IS Verification Plan (activities, means, strategy)

Delivery of Verification & Test activities planning Delivery of requirements testing coverage and results in a weekly report

Delivery of a weekly synthesis on Verification & Test activities

Specification of tools needed to manage Verification & Test activities (PC, Test benches…)

Management of TC&IS Verification & Test Work Package

Job Specifications

Knowledge & Experience

Practical knowledge of validation methods (boundary tests, equivalent class tests…)

Practical knowledge of validation tools (TestStand, model-based testing tools…)

Practical knowledge of validation Means (Testbench, simulators…)

Practical experience on software integration & validation phases (minimum of 2 years’ experience in Railway or Health, Defence, Aeronautical, Automotive domains).

Managing work packages for sub-contractors

Design For Quality (DFQ) cycle

Fluent English

Team size

Functional reports:

Depending on the project size, his/her scope of accountability represents a workload of up to 40 full time equivalents

Force of proposal for validation methods/tools improvement on his/her project
