Could you be the full-time Schematics & Apparatus Engineer in [LOCATION] we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your electrical design and electrotechnical expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, solution-driven, and collaborative teammates.
You'll contribute to the design and specification of train electrical systems and components. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Technical Coordination Engineers, Systems Engineers, Fitting Engineers), manage the configuration of electrical deliverables, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of creating apparatus specifications, cubical specifications, and wiring lists, but also ensure the electrical architecture at the train level is impeccably designed.
We’ll look to you for:

Delivering high-quality electrical design deliverables with a first-time quality rate of over 90%

Ensuring 100% on-time delivery of all project components
-
Full application of standard Preferred Parts List (PPL) and managing continuous improvement
-
Designing schematics and wire lists, selecting components, and providing manufacturing support
-
Managing the configuration of electrical deliverables for each project baseline
-
Being a force of proposal for PPL and process evolution/improvement

Engineering degree with a minimum of 5 years in electrical design and/or electrotechnical engineering

Profound train electrical knowledge

Extensive Electrical CAD experience

Fluency in English
