Could you be the full-time Software Engineering Manager in Vadodara we’re looking for?

 

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive software engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, collaborative, and dedicated teammates.

You'll lead the delivery of Train Software according to your Engineering Work Package. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Project Management, Sourcing, Quality Control), managing the traceability and configuration of tools used by your team and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of deploying and applying Train Control & Information Solutions development procedures, processes & design rules on your projects, but also initiating and following up action plans to solve issues and/or improve results in projects.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Ensuring the efficiency of your domain within project development through standard processes and methodologies

  • Defining, developing, and sharing re-usable “design patterns” in your domain

  • Promoting continuous improvement initiatives in your team

  • Supporting tenders and projects on technical or process issues

  • Managing workload and resources, including subcontracted work

  • Contributing to the sub-contracting strategy in liaison with Sourcing

  • Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

  • Experience or understanding of train control and information systems

  • Knowledge of software development life cycles and configuration management

  • Familiarity with risk assessment and mitigation planning

  • A certification in project management or software development (e.g., PMP, CSDP).

  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • Excellent problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset
