Could you be the full-time Legal Counsel North & Central Africa, in Casablanca/Morocco we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your legal expertise in a dynamic and collaborative environment. You’ll work alongside dedicated and solution-oriented teammates.

You'll play a pivotal role in supporting the business, the Contract Management team, and the Senior Legal Counsel NCA in all legal matters, ensuring Alstom’s operations are conducted with the highest standards of integrity. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, such as bid teams during tender processes, corporate functions, and project teams, while providing legal advice, negotiating contracts, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of reviewing, drafting, and negotiating legal documents, but also supporting claim management and dispute resolution.

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating legal documents with an acceptable level of risk

  • Supporting the business in legal and contractual matters, including claim management and dispute settlement

  • Providing legal assessments during tender processes, including reviewing contractual and legal aspects of tender documents

  • Handling corporate law matters

  • Promoting Alstom’s Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct

  • Providing sound risk analysis and solutions to complex legal challenges


All about you

  • A Law degree in business law (Master II); an LLM or LLB is desirable

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the execution of infrastructure projects within international industrial environments such as oil & gas, civil engineering, construction, hydraulics, or transport

  • Knowledge of international public tender rules and practices

  • Good command of French, English and Arabic

  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a complex and international organization

  • Open-mindedness and a solution-oriented mindset

  • Teamwork spirit and strong interpersonal skills

  • Proactivity, responsiveness, and resilience

  • A business-minded and agile approach to problem-solving

  • Autonomy and the ability to work independently
