Join us as Signal Technician and you’ll be looking at a career-defining role based in Camden, NJ. 

In your role as a Signal Technician, you will:

  • Performs preventative maintenance and regulatory testing on railroad signaling and traffic control equipment.
  • Performs troubleshooting and repair of railroad signaling and traffic control equipment.
  • Trained and qualified in SNJLRTS Operating Rules.
  • Trained and qualified to maintain railroad signaling in accordance with 49 CFR, parts 233 – 236.
  • Perform signal construction other related tasks as assigned by the Supervisor of Signal Maintenance.

 

Qualifications

  • Associates degree in Electronics / Electric Field or equivalent work experience.
  • 0 to 1 years in the railroad field with a technical diploma or certificate; 5 years in the railroad field without a technical diploma or certificate
