Could you be the full-time remote Railway Regulatory Compliance Manager in Camden, NJ, US we’re looking for? (The successful candidate may work 100% remote within the US)


Your future role

"Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive regulatory compliance and railway safety expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated, knowledgeable, and collaborative teammates. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of railway safety and compliance within Alstom. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including project management, engineering, and legal departments), ensure adherence to North American regulatory standards, and much more."

We’ll look to you for:

  • Collaborating with Alstom projects to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements across North America, particularly regarding Railway Safety,

  • Advising the management team on regulatory trends and predicted changes,

  • Developing and implementing strategies for Alstom Services to adhere to US & Canada regulations and best practices,

  • Offering expert guidance to Alstom project teams on US Federal and State agency regulations, including operations, safety, and environmental compliance,

  • Supporting projects and tenders with regulatory guidance, railway safety audits, and technical documentation reviews,

  • Applying strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address compliance challenges

  • Bachelor's degree in transportation, engineering, or related field. Master's degree level is preferred.,

  • Familiarity with federal and state regulatory environment, including experience with the Federal Railroad Administration, Federal Transit Administration, Transport Canada, and other regional and local authorities.,

  • Experience or understanding of North American railway regulation, agencies, or equivalent field.,

  • Knowledge of rail transportation operations, technology, and industry standards.,

  • Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders.,

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time as needed.
