As Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing safe, reliable and clean Light Rail Vehicles (LRV’s) in accordance with transportation schedules.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Manage Shop Forman and maintenance workforce within prescribed policies and procedures. Schedule employee work hours to maximize productivity.
  • Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of the River LINE fleet to provide a high level of safety, reliability, cleanliness, and comfort.
  • Manage staff to effectively maximize production levels, enforce safety, and reduce costs.
  • Evaluate fleet performance. Develop and implement cost effective maintenance practices. Recommends changes to improve safety, availability, reliability, availability, and cleanliness.
  • Monitor and evaluate performance and skill levels of employees. Ensure all employees receive required training, develop suitable successors for replacements at all levels.
  • Comply with and enforce all regulatory, contractual, and corporate procedures and policies.
  • Ensure fair treatment and equal opportunity for all employees.

 

REQUIRED PROFILE:

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, plus two years of technical training or an Associate Degree in a related field.
  • Proven experience in vehicle maintenance.
  • Proficiency with personal computers, maintenance management systems and related software.
