Join us as a Field Service Engineer, and you’ll be looking at a career-defining role based in Camden, NJ.

Act as technical support for the Vehicle Maintenance Supervisors and staff by providing troubleshooting assistance and technical analysis.Provide support for all departments by assessing component failures, finding root cause, and developing improvements. Identify and resolve problems using Root Cause Analysis, 5 Why, Ishikawa and  similar practices.

 

Key responsibilities and challenges:

  • Provide troubleshooting assistance and technical analysis to support  the Vehicle Maintenance Supervisors and staff.
  • Assist Manager of Quality Assurance, Project Manager, Superintendents of Maintenance, and Field Service Engineers with process improvements, procedure revisions, failure analysis, component repair  and overhauls, and nonconforming parts dispositions.
  • Manage the life cycle of specific equipment. This includes development and management of specific overhaul programs.

  • Support the contract administration department in forecasting costs for component overhauls and component replacement, preparing specification for new components or approving alternate components from OEM and non-OEM suppliers. 
  • Assist the Purchasing and Storeroom departments with parts procurement, technical knowledge in contract negotiations and inspection of critical parts. Prepare temporary and permanent change authorizations by developing the necessary documents and drawings. Prepare updates to the equipment manuals and other controlled documents as changes progress and are implemented. 

 

 

Preferred -Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering,  

 

3+ Years experience in heavy maintenance industry maintenance  

 

Associates degree and/or relevant experience will be considered.    

 

Documented history of related experience.  

 

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with Word, Powerpoint, and Excel.
