Could you be the full-time onsite Contract Manager in Camden, NJ, US we’re looking for?


Your future role

"Take on a new challenge and apply your contract management and operational analysis expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and results-driven teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in overseeing operations and maintenance contracts, procurement, and storeroom operations while ensuring financial and operational excellence. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Superintendents, General Manager, and New Jersey Transit), develop and implement financial control procedures, and direct configuration control for systems—and much more."

We’ll look to you for:

  • Directing the contract administration with New Jersey Transit and overseeing the administration of operations and maintenance contracts. ,

  • Implementing and administering procurement and storeroom operations. ,

  • Developing and directing operational analysis with the goal of improving overall functionality. ,

  • Interacting with Superintendents and the General Manager to ensure alignment with organizational goals. ,

  • Implementing financial control procedures for all SNJLRT activities to meet contract requirements within the budget. ,

  • Overseeing the development of budgets and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines. ,

  • Providing 24/7 availability for direction over the phone or in person on-site, as required. ,

  • Supervising and managing teams to ensure efficient operations and contract compliance. ,

  • Ensuring continuous improvement and adaptability in response to operational challenges."

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Cost Accounting, Business/Contract Administration, or other related fields. ,

  • Experience or understanding of contract administration, procurement, and storeroom operations. ,

  • Knowledge of operational analysis and financial control procedures. ,

  • Familiarity with business systems like Maximo. ,

  • Resilience and adaptability to manage on-call responsibilities 24/7. ,

  • Supervisory or management experience. ,

  • Continuous learning mindset to improve operations and meet contract requirements. ,

  • Analytical thinking to direct configuration control and system functionality.
