Could you be the full-time Telecommunication Lead Engineer in Egypt we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your Telecommunication System expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside passionate, motivated and dedicated teammates.

You’ll take responsibility for Telecommunications System related engineering issues including On Board Communication, Broad Band Radio System, CCTV, Public Information System, Multi-Service Network, Video & Voice Recording System, SCADA

You'll also be responisble for the Automted Fare Collectioin System AFC.

You’ll specifically take care of delivering Turnkey project, making sure it aligns with contractual requirements and customer expectations. 

We’ll look to you to:

  • Manage safety systems and quality systems and processes together with QA.
  • Establish useful life of Telecommunications System & various wayside equipment and a replacement program for assets through analyzing the maintenance management information system.
  • Conduct trend analysis to determine performance requirements improvements of assets.
  • Determine the most cost-effective strategy that has minimal negative impact on safety and quality.
  • Investigate and analyze equipment failure trends and condition monitoring in order to improve maintenance performance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Liaise with production team, analyzing information (doing root cause analysis)
  • Establish, update and maintain maintenance manuals and drawings.
  • Liaise with relevant Group stakeholders (e.g., OEM, design authorities, infrastructure manager) to determine compliance to standards

  • Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • At least 7 years’ relevant experience in Telecom systems - rail experience is a plus.
  • Teleocm Systems Design Experience is plus.
  • Fluent in Arabic & English Language.
  • Knowledge of Telecommunication System, EAM such Maximo/ GIS
  • Lead the FRACAS process.
