Located in Borg El Arab, Alexandria, Alstom’s factory is a key industrial hub supporting Egypt’s rail and mobility ambitions. The site plays a vital role in manufacturing and assembling rail solutions for major national and regional projects, combining global Alstom expertise with strong local talent. Could you be the full-time Talent Acquisition Partner in Borg El Arab, Alexandria we’re looking for, to help us find the best talent for Alstom?

 

Your future role

 

Take on a new challenge and apply your recruitment expertise in a dynamic and innovative field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and forward-thinking teammates.

You'll play a pivotal role in shaping Alstom’s workforce by attracting and securing top talent to meet our business needs. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including hiring managers and  HR Business Partners), lead end-to-end recruitment processes, and contribute to building a diverse and inclusive talent pipeline, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of sourcing, interviewing, and selecting candidates, but also ensure compliance with employment regulations and maintaining data accuracy within our recruitment tools. You'll rely on the partnership with the rest of the Talent Acquisition team to build long term recruitment strategies and  staff our new factory in Borg El Arab, Alexandria, with the right talent. We'll count on you to be solution oriented and focused on improving yourself and the work we do in TA.

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Leading all phases of the recruitment process, including stakeholder engagement, job posting, candidate sourcing, interviewing, offer management, and background checks.
  • Ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.
  • Collaborating with hiring managers to understand their needs and providing tailored recruitment solutions.
  • Administering talent pools and pipelines to ensure timely and effective processing of candidates.
  • Conducting first-level screenings and advanced interviews, focusing on skills and competency assessments.
  • Promoting diversity and inclusion by attracting diverse talent pools.
  • Utilising Alstom’s recruitment tools to ensure data accuracy and efficiency.
  • Staying informed on industry trends and best practices to bring innovative strategies to the recruitment process.
  • Fostering a collaborative environment to encourage knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or other relevant fields is desirable.
  • Understanding of Talent Acquisition strategies and competency/ skills based hiring, with a strong drive to learn.
  • Experience in a project-oriented environment, working against milestones and deadlines. Preferable experience with both Blue-collar and White-collar recruitment.
  • Working understanding of social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter), Customer Relationship Management, and Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Good coordination, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to adapt style and approach to different audiences.
  • Business-level proficiency in English.
  • Attention to detail and a process-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • A passion for talent acquisition and a commitment to continuous learning and growth.
  • Agility, resilience, and problem-solving abilities to navigate challenges effectively.
