Your future role

You’ll work alongside proactive, collaborative, and solution-oriented teammates.You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring supplier delivery performance and Supply Chain method and tools aligns with Alstom’s needs in terms of time, quantity, and quality. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Material Planning, Procurement, and Supplier Development), lead delivery performance improvements, and proactively manage supplier risks.You’ll specifically take care of supplier delivery performance monitoring and improvement, capacity and supply chain capability assessments, and supporting cross-functional teams, but also coaching and developing Material Planners on SDPM topics.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Ensure the Supplier ability in delivery performance to meet Alstom needs in required time and quantity
  • Animate Supplier's delivery performances & risk management.
  • Conduct the Capacity and the SC Capability audits for Suppliers.
  • Collaborate with Material Planning and Procurement for supplier selection, escalation and delivery improvements
  • Animate Supplier Delivery Performance
  • Monitor and eliminate non-OTIF impact (late and early deliveries) in close collaboration with Material Planning
  • Lead and create the OTIF improvement plan in collaboration with Material Planning
  • Contribute to Supplier delivery risks assessment & management
  • Manage delivery crisis (mono-Site and multi-Sites when leading)
  • Evaluate ad-hoc Supplier Capacity and Supply Chain Capability
  • Ensure Material Planner SDPM skills development (training/coaching)
    Predictive mode (new contract or newcomer)
  • Drive Light Supply Chain Audit (LSCA) and Capacity Assessment (CA) when required
  • Drive Full Supply Chain Audit (FSCA) when required
  • Participate and Contribute in Supplier Development and Supplier Performance initiatives from procurement
  • Animate Delivery performance with main stakeholders
  • Perform on targeted Suppliers root causes analysis to understand non-performance
  • If required, drive Capacity and/or Supply Chain Capability assessments
  • Define and follow up action plan to improve Supplier Delivery performance in collaboration with Material Planning
  • Lead Resident program when required
  • Ensure Action Plan report and update for Top Worst Suppliers including Bottom Up approach
  • Prepare and hold OTIF reviews on site, region or global level, as required
  • Collaborate with other SDPM in case of multi-sites or multi regional impact
  • Support activities and involve main stakeholders in case of major delivery issue
  • Train and coach Material Planners on different SDPM topics
  • To define, implement and adopt the processes and associated tools within the site.
  • To encompass cross-functional, end-to-end processes for the functions of Supply Chain), Procurement, Quality & Finance
  • To ensure the service delivery of the Information Technology (IT) tools
  • Lead the definition of standards, processes and instructions and associated tools for one or more of the cross-functional processes “Source to Procure”, “Procure to Pay”, “Receipt to Deliver” and “Plan to Manufacture” processes, with Alstom Regions and user groups involvement
  • Analyze the IT landscape and contribute to the development of the IT strategic roadmap to deliver the target processes
  • Lead the definition of new IS&T tools or the improvement of actual Method & Tools (M&T) with the IS&T team based on business requirements & budget constraint.
  • Drive the deployment of new core tools and make sure that they are applied in the proper and efficient way.
  • Validate alignment between new processes and available tools.
  • Provide sustainable support to sites (including technical trainings and key user skills developments)
  • Animate Key Users networks
  • Plan and conduct regular reports and reviews monitoring the adherence and reporting the performance (Key Performance Indicators) of the process and tools
  • Coordinate troubleshooting and resolution of systems and interface issues in cooperation with the IS&T team

  • Degree in Business or Engineering with a focus on Supply Chain.
  • Advanced SAP knowledge in supply chain processes.
  • Experience in supply chain information flow (> 5 years).
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain, Procurement, Project Management and Quality experience
  • Knowledgeable on performing audits
  • A certification in Supply Chain or Lean Management (desirable).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in English (mandatory).
