Could you be the full-time onsite Site EHS Lead in Cairo, EG we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated and collaborative teammates. You'll contribute significantly to the safety and well-being of our site in Cairo by supporting the Line EHS Manager in critical EHS topics. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (operations, engineering, and project management), assist in the development and implementation of the Site EHS Management System, and much more.
We’ll look to you for:

Assisting in the performance of EHS Risk Assessments and the definition of measures to control risks.

Coordinating and controlling activities with respect to EHS, especially where interfaces with other contractors or operation areas are involved.

Recognizing best practices and good performance, and reacting to violations of regulations and Alstom Standards,

Developing the Site EHS Management System in alignment with Alstom Standards and international standards (ISO 14001 and ISO45001).

Providing support and advice to site personnel to prevent injury, damage to plant and equipment, fire, and environmental pollution.

Degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, Occupational Health, or a related field.

Knowledge of EHS regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).

A certification such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or a strong ability to communicate EHS concepts effectively.

Proven ability to develop and implement EHS management systems.

Capability to use EHS software and reporting tools.
