Senior SCC V&V Engineer

Could you be the Senior SCC V&V Engineer in Cairo we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to SCC V&V Manager, and work alongside passionate, motivated and dedicated teammates.

You'll be a part of the AMECA SCC team, where the SCC system comprises of three subsystems: ATS (Automatic Train Supervision), SCADA, and security system. You'll specificaly participate V&V activities related to the SCC subsystem. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, and all over the world. 

We’ll look to you for:

• Execute SCC V&V activities from SSRS point of view
• Test specification, and test report writing and review
• Test bench envirnoment configuration
• Management of defects through change requests
• Help to anayse the detected defect
• Execute automatic and manual tests using simulators and analyses the results
• Progress reporting
• Performing FAT activities
• Supporting T&C activities, etc.

• A degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering;
• Fundamental knowledge of Programming, Python, and SQL
• Experience with both Linux and Windows Operating Systems
• Fluency in the English language
• Analytical capabilities in identifying defects and suggesting corrective solutions
• Teamwork skills and transparency in communication
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn 
• 2–5 years of relevant experience
