Could you be the full-time Senior Project Manager in Cairo we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your project management expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside a collaborative and innovative team of experts driving impactful change in the railway industry.
You'll lead the execution of medium-criticality projects, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements, customer expectations, and Alstom’s processes. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and finance, to deliver projects on time and within budget while optimizing financial performance and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
You’ll specifically take care of project governance, resource management, and stakeholder alignment, but also lead risk mitigation strategies and identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.
We’ll look to you for:

Driving project Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Planning (QCDP) performance while optimizing margin and cash flow

Defining project strategy, objectives, and governance in line with contractual requirements

Leading and coordinating project activities and stakeholders from transfer to close-out
-
Ensuring customer satisfaction and alignment with contractual requirements

Managing project risks, opportunities, and claims
-
Reporting project progress and KPIs to senior management with transparency

Ensuring compliance with Alstom’s Code of Ethics, EHS, Railway Safety, and Quality standards

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field

10+ years of experience as a project manager in the railway industry, including at least 5 years in signalling and communications (Mainline and/or Urban projects)

Proven experience with EPC contracts, stakeholder management, and collaboration with subcontractors, partners, suppliers, and customers
-
Strong project management skills and knowledge of project management processes

Leadership and team management capabilities, with experience coordinating multi-site and multi-functional teams

Advanced negotiation skills and the ability to manage customer relationships effectively

Proficiency in managing complex situations, including conflict resolution and crisis management
-
Knowledge of Alstom’s way of working is a plus
