Could you be the full-time Maintenance Technician in Cairo monorail project for East and West Line we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your technical maintenance expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside skilled and collaborative teammates.
You'll play a critical role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our rolling stock. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, operations, and quality assurance), perform preventative and corrective maintenance activities, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of troubleshooting and diagnosing faults, but also ensure the quality and compliance of maintenance tasks.
We’ll look to you for:
- Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance activities
- Conducting troubleshooting actions and validations
- Diagnosing faults and supporting the definition of corrective actions
- Performing tests and verifications
- Reporting any deformities while performing maintenance activities
- Ensuring timely completion of maintenance tasks
- Maintaining high-quality standards and compliance with quality aspects
- Ensuring cleanliness and tidiness of the workspace
- Executing maintenance tasks in accordance with manuals and maintenance plans
- Complying with Alstom EHS rules
- Coordinating to ensure the availability of tools, special tools, and spare parts
- Filling out maintenance checklists and documenting any configuration changes
- Supporting the maintenance documentation cycle

- Diploma in electrical or mechanical maintenance
- Experience or understanding of troubleshooting methods
- Knowledge of technical drawings literacy
- Familiarity with EHS basics awareness
- A general understanding of maintenance principles
- Experience in rolling stock maintenance
- At least 5 years in the railway industry
- Computer literacy is a plus
- English language proficiency is a plus
