Could you be the full-time Rolling Stock Preventive Maintenance Supervisor in Cairo we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your technical leadership and maintenance expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside a highly skilled, collaborative, and safety-conscious team.

You'll ensure the optimal performance, safety, reliability, and availability of rolling stock through effective planning, coordination, supervision, and verification of maintenance activities. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (e.g., Maintenance Technicians, Maintenance Management, and EHS teams), oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of supervising maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and supporting the development of your team, but also drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize performance and resource utilization.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Leading and supervising a team of technicians to carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on rolling stock.

  • Allocating and coordinating daily maintenance tasks based on operational priorities and available resources.

  • Ensuring maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with procedures and quality standards.

  • Monitoring work progress, addressing delays or constraints, and supporting fault rectification activities.

  • Reviewing and verifying maintenance records, work orders, and technical documentation.

  • Providing technical guidance, coaching, and on-the-job support to technicians.

  • Promoting adherence to EHS requirements, safety practices, and procedural compliance.

  • Supporting team development by identifying training needs and mentoring team members.

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Diploma or Technical Qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Electromechanical, Mechatronics, or a relevant maintenance discipline.

  • Strong practical experience in rolling stock preventive and corrective maintenance.

  • Good understanding of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems, including the ability to read and interpret technical diagrams.

  • Experience in troubleshooting and fault diagnosis of rolling stock systems.

  • Good IT knowledge and familiarity with computerized maintenance and reporting systems.

  • Demonstrated experience in mentoring, coaching, or leading maintenance technicians.

  • Strong knowledge of railway and rolling stock maintenance procedures and standards.

  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
