Could you be the full-time Rail Infrastructure Technician in Egypt we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your Railway expertise in a new cutting-edge field.
- Insure stability of supplying power to all EoN equipment (Trains, stations, depot, …)
- Maintain Power Supply, Track Switch Beams, Power Rail equipment in a timely manner and in accordance with the technical references of maintenance plan.
- Troubleshoot the faulty equipment and carry out corrective actions as agreed with the team leader.
Support all team members and insure coordination with other teams.

Technically
- Carry out Preventive and Corrective maintenance activities.
- Carry out troubleshooting actions and validations.
- Diagnose the fault and support for defining corrective actions.
- Perform tests and verifications.
- Inform and transfer know-how
- Maintain and manage the tools and the spare parts
- Report any deformities while performing Maintenance activities.
- Ensure and perform the maintenance tasks in timely manner.
- Ensure the quality of the work carried out, compliance with Quality aspects.
- Ensure workspace cleanliness and tidiness.
- Carry out Maintenance tasks accordance with manuals and maintenance plans.
- Comply to Alstom EHS rules.
- Coordinate to ensure Tools, special tools, and spare parts availability.
- Fill out maintenance checklist and register any configuration change.
- Support in Maintenance documentation cycle.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in electrical or mechanical maintenance - Higher Diploma or Institute is a plus
Knowledge:
- EHS basics awareness
- Troubleshooting method
- Technical drawings literacy
- Technical Experience
- General principles of maintenance
- Power Supply maintenance
- Mechanical maintenance
Experience:
- At least 5 years in the electrical / mechanical maintenance environment
- Experience in Rail is a plus.
- Computer Literacy is a plus.
- English Language is a plus.
