Responsibilities:
- Do the necessary to guarantee that Quality Assurance and Quality Control rules and procedures are in place in the subcontractors’ organizations to the satisfaction of Alstom.
- Participate to 4M review for Quality before start of Installation and T&C.
- Ensure of adequate level of quality for FAT, Equipment Installation, Test & commissioning.
- Problem solving, prevent occurrence of potential defects .
- Report cost of non quality (CONQ) and collect it ( if any ) and Prevent of occurrence
- Follow, support Installation and T&C teams to obtain Quality Plan and procedures complying with Alstom requirements.
- Review equipment installation method statements and ensure that MS complied with Alstom & customer Requirements and applied at site in terms of quality point of view.
- Prepare Quality control plan with all tests, inspections, evidences required.
- Ensure that subcontractors perform tests and inspections according to the QC plan or ITP, ensure of correct filling of inspection sheets and availability of all laboratory testing certificates and conduct QA validation for the ITRs before releasing to the customer following Inspection procedures
- Close quality follow up for the open points and reserves on site till punch list closure.
- Conduct on site quality issues investigations and analysis.
- Review handover file from Installation team before submission to the Client.
- Issue and track non – conformance related to material, execution, and workmanship and monitor action and remedial response until closeout.
- Ensure and follow that all tools are calibrated on time.
- Review Quality documents of Subcontractors and suppliers.
- Customer interface in case of Quality issue
- Perform regular audits and follow resolution of actions in place.
- Make sure that all site quality documents are achieved and controlled in the right place , like ITRs , Method statements , test reports , checklists , etc.
- Control all reserves come from customer FAT , inspections or testing and follow up with the team the action plans.
Qualifications:
- 6-8 total years of experience in projects.
- Bachelor degree in Engineering ( Electrical or mechatronics )
- Quality experience is recommended.
- Work experience in signalling and communications
- Familiar with working in Matrix Organizations ( Railway is prefered )
- Working knowledge in Excel, PowerPoint applications.
- Fluent in Arabic & English Languages, French is an advantage
