Could you be the full-time Quality Engineer "Rolling Stock" Cairo Monorail Operation & Maintenance in Cairo we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your quality engineer expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, detail-oriented, and innovative teammates.
You'll ensure product and service quality compliance according to customer and internal specifications. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as the NCR team, manufacturing teams, and the Project Quality & Safety Manager), manage non-conformities, and support continuous improvement initiatives, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of managing incoming inspections and deploying the Return of Experience Process, but also participate in customer inspections and qualify manufacturing teams regarding Self-Inspection.
We’ll look to you for:

Managing non-conformities by supporting the NCR team to complete characterization until closure using problem-solving methodologies (e.g., QRQC, 8D).

Participating in customer inspections and ensuring compliance with requirements.

Managing Workstation Dynamic Checklists (Self-Inspection & Workstation Inspection) and performing Workstation Audits based on Service Quality Assessment checklists.

Performing or participating in inspections of products when required.

Deploying the Return of Experience Process to ensure continuous improvement.

Collaborating with the Project Quality & Safety Manager to maintain compliance with Alstom Management Systems and Quality and Railway Safety documentation.

Following up on Quality Objectives and participating in Criticality Matrix analysis and contributing to Process FMEA (Failure Mode & Effect Analysis).

Managing incoming inspections, including performing inspections according to the Incoming Control Plan, documenting results, and addressing non-conformities.

Ensuring the use of calibrated equipment and instrumentation during inspections.

Degree in Engineering (electromechanical, electrical, material, mechanical…) or equivalent.

Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other relevant quality management systems.

Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.

Experience or understanding of quality assurance processes and regulations in the railway industry.
-
Ability to read drawings/specifications and familiarity with a variety of test equipment.
-
A certification in quality engineering or strong capability in technical communication.
-
Experience with Special Processes.

Desirable: Experience in the railway industry.

5+ years of experience in an industrial setting.
